I am so thankful that I have never had to use the Heimlich Maneuver. Dr. Henry Heimlich, who invented the Heimlich Maneuver, just used it for the first time ever at the age of 96. The person survived, and Dr. Heimlich did not break a hip while performing the maneuver.
