Mariah Carey is making sure she’s still receiving an inconvenience fee from James Packer. Mariah and James split over two years ago, and if you recall, Mariah didn’t think a breakup song was enough for this breakup!
She sued Packer for $50 million as an inconvenience fee for wasted time… Although, she didn’t win the full amount—the settlement was for $5 to $10 million.

Part of the settlement was that Mariah kept the engagement ring!
Mariah just sold her 35-carrot diamond ring to a Los Angeles jeweler for $2.1 million. Something Mariah is good at is getting rid of the old and bringing in the new.
