From pancakes to burgers? IHOP tweeted last week that for their 60th anniversary they are revamping and flipping the “P” upside down and introduced IHOb. This had followers guessing what the b could stand for.
IHOP announced their temporary name: IHOb, B standing for Burgers. The Internet found this shift to be quite funny, including some other chain restaurants like Wendy’s. Here are a few funny tweets:

The restaurant is releasing seven new steak burgers to the menu. IHOP’s intentions are to expand the brand from only being a breakfast restaurant and “to develop our lunch and dinner business” says Chief Marketing Officer Brad Haley.
Fun Fact: IHOP has offered burgers on the menu since 1958.
