For the past eight seasons, Andrew Lincoln’s character Rick Grimes has played the protagonist on the hit show The Walking Dead. Unfortunately, season nine will be the end for the infamous character as he will be leaving the show.
It is unknown how his death will play out but one thing is certain, the fans are devastated. Lincoln’s character has the carried the show since the beginning. It is said that Grimes’ sidekick Daryl Dixon will take the lead in his absence.
Although Lincoln is leaving the show, he has dropped subtle hints that his relationship with the character is far from over.
Who knows maybe Rick Grimes will get his own spin off in the future?
