Netflix gave Stranger Things fans a New Year’s Eve present on the last day of 2018, finally announcing their official premiere date for the highly anticipated third season.
Stranger Things fans across the internet marked their calendars for July 4, 2019, after watching the new trailer for season three. The announcement was long-awaited, having been almost a whole year since the last premiere in October of 2017. Twitter blew up with the news, users showing their excitement and theories for spoilers, and media pages spreading the posters Netflix released along with the trailer.
