Late Night Feelings is the name of the Mark Ronson’s latest album with June 12 being the project’s release date.
On Friday, April 12, Ronson made the album announcement via his Instagram page showcasing the title and feature of each track. Alicia Keys, Camila Cabello and Miley Cyrus are just to name a few on this 13-track project. Along with the release of the track listing and release date, Ronson dropped the title track single featuring Swedish singer-songwriter Lykke Li.
The first single, Late Night Feelings, contains elements of a 1970’s groove throughout the whole song with Lykke giving the track her own indie-style with each verse. Around the 2:30 mark, all those sounds disappear, the BPM slows down with Lykke Li singing over plenty 808’s. According to Ronson, he told Billboard that this album is full of songs that he calls “sad bangers.”
After coming off a heavy public acceptance and winning a Grammy from his partnership in Lady Gaga’s hit “Shallow” from A Star Is Born, Mark is ready to give the world a collection of songs from his perspective. According to Billboard, Ronson will be the first musician ever to release an album five different forms at once which include CD, cassette, vinyl, 8-track and mini disc. While digital releases will be available through streaming services, the five formats will be available for purchase through Ronson’s website.
