Shawn Mendes was Saturday Night Live’s musical guest on Saturday May 4th, which was hosted by former cast member Adam Sandler.
The pop heartthrob released his new song “If I Can’t Have You” this week and performed it live for the first time on SNL. 20-year-old Mendes stated on a YouTube chat that the new hit was inspired by the pop rock band The 1975. He also performed his songs “In My Blood”, “Mercy”, and “Treat You Better”.
