Justin Timberlake, former member of NSYNC and major pop star, will be honored with the Contemporary Icon Award by the Songwriters Hall of Fame at their 50th annual induction in New York City on June 13th.

The Contemporary Icon Award is credited to a “songwriter-artist who has attained an iconic status in pop culture”. The only other artist to be granted the award was Lady Gaga in 2015.

With songs like “SexyBack”, “Mirrors”, “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” and “Cry Me a River” (among many others), Justin Timberlake has topped the charts countless times over the course of his 25 year music career. Timberlake has won 10 Grammy awards, seven American Music Awards, nine Billboard Music Awards and 29 ASCAP Awards over the course of his career. His accolades clearly speak for themselves.

Other 2019 Songwriters Hall inductees include Cat Stevens, Missy Elliott, Tom T. Hall, Jack Tempchin and Dallas Austin.
