Adam Levine has decided to not return to The Voice for season 17.
Gwen Stefani will be his replacement.
Levine was signed on for two more seasons, but dropped out suddenly on Friday citing the long shoot and audition hours as his reason for leaving. He already gave The Voice 16 seasons of his judgement, talent, and happiness; and deserves a break to focus on other ventures.
