Since its release in April, 2019, BTS’ album “Map of the Soul: Persona” is now the best-selling album in South Korean history! The EP, which has only been out for roughly two months has been on the US Billboard 200 chart and the UK’s Official Albums Chart. It even scored third No. 1 album on Billboard in the first week of its release. “Map of the Soul: Persona” sold 3,229,032 copies in Korea in only the FIRST month! The album has seven songs, including the single featuring Halsey, “Boy with Luv”, which debuted at No. 8 on the Hot 100 upon the album’s release. “Map of the Soul: Persona” beat the previous sales record set by Kim Gun-mo’s Mis-Encounter in 1995.
