It’s no surprise Selena Gomez has been on a mini hiatus from music for a little while now. But can you blame her? With the announcement of her long time love, Justin Bieber marrying his now wife, Hailey Baldwin, it’s not a shock that Selena disappeared from the lime light for a little while.

Well, her fan base was not going to let go of her that easy. Selena’s fan base are trying to break the internet. Apparently, Selena Gomez teased about dropping some new music this past Thursday; she posted on her Instagram what appeared to be the title of her upcoming single on October 18, then opened up for pre-orders for her new song titled “Lose You to Love Me.”

Selena decided to pair the announcement with a close up black and white portrait of her face and the caption, “I need to lose you to love me” with the release date for October 23.

Selena Gomez hasn’t released any music since 2015. The last project that was released was her sophomore album titled “Revival.” Needless to say, #Selenators are ready for her comeback!
