Gary Martin Hays wants to give back to the Black community through educational scholarships- scholarships for high school graduates who have been accepted to an HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities).
Here’s where you come in: Gary Martin Hays will match YOUR donations up to $10,000 to The Freemont Foundation! The Freemont Foundation funds scholarships for both Black undergraduates (attending an HBCU) and graduate students (attending any graduate school). The dollars donated go directly to the scholarships, with very little going to overhead.
The Freemont Foundation also sponsors two high schools PSAT and ACT workshops to prepare the students for the exams, as well as the Dave Ramsey program at Hapeville Charter Middle School to provide financial education.
