In the past, we know that Cardi and Offset have had their issues after Cardi publicly called him out for cheating.
Cardi B told Vogue this in 2019, “When me and my husband got into our issues — you know, he cheated and everything — and I decided to stay with him and work together with him, a lot of people were so mad at me; a lot of women felt disappointed in me.” She continued by saying, “But it’s real-life s–t. If you love somebody and you stop being with them, and you’re depressed and social media is telling you not to talk to that person because he cheated, you’re not really happy on the inside until you have the conversation.”

According to TMZ and her court documents, Cardi is seeking primary physical custody and legal custody of their 2-year-old daughter, Kulture. She also him to pay child support. However, the details are unclear.
TMZ also reported that the rapper made it clear in the documents that she and Offset are currently separated, and “there are no prospects for a reconciliation.” Cardi also states in the documents that she wants Offset to be forced to pay her legal expenses.
There’s more. Cardi probably does not have a prenup because the documents say that she wants “an equitable division of all marital assets.” Whatever he did, she is mad, and I would honestly hate to be on Cardi’s bad side.
But honestly, no one knows about their valid incentives for the divorce, but whatever it is, she is not putting up with the BS.
According to sources, their divorce hearing is on Nov. 4, 2020, at 10 a.m. EST.
