Growing up, our listener and her mother did not have the best relationship. Her mother was never around, and she was left to be responsible for her younger siblings.

Now she married with two kids, and her mother wants to be a part of her grandchildren’s lives. However, our listener doesn’t want her kids to experience what she did.

She doesn’t want her mother to be a part of her kids’ life. Is she wrong for keeping her mother away?
