People will do anything nowadays to get someone’s attention. When it comes to dating or meeting new people it seems like no one can just be straight up anymore. Here’s some crazy examples that I’ve recently experienced or heard.

Flirting through LinkedIn messages and suggesting meeting up to hang out is not flirting. LinkedIn is for making connections in the professional world…this is NOT Tinder.

Someone trying to impress you by doing weird dance moves at a bar. If you want to dance just ask…don’t come at me with some questionable moves.

Repeatedly texting with no response.

Tell a fake story about their life to make it seem more appealing and interesting.

When you keep blowing someone off that asks you on a date and they just keep asking. Take a hint people.

A guy at a restaurant trying to hook me up with his roommate that is twice my age.

If you’re reading this and you’re debating on asking someone out… just don’t be creepy.
