A big mildly illegal thing that I have done in my lifetime started with getting a flat tire on the side of the highway… not having my spare tire, it was either walk on the side of the highway to the next exit where I knew a tire shop was or jump the side rail where I saw a short cut to the tire shop. So, naturally I chose the short route. I saw a few fences; one was sort of short, so I hopped it. What I didn’t know was that those fences belonged to a minimum security women’s prison. It was the first fence and not the main fence, but the guard tower still saw me and brought me in for questioning. I told him what happened and he believed me considering I don’t think any normal person in their right mind would do that out in the open.
