I feel that way sometimes, but regardless if the movie is good or not, it’s still a classic. I personally can’t think of any movies that aren’t as good as I remember. Every movie I loved as a kid I still love now, but some people have different experiences.
That sad moment when u watch a childhood movie and it’s not as good as you remember it #gremlins

Others have that experience with movies from later in life rather than from their childhood. Maybe they’ve watched it too many times or the jokes get old.
