What are some of the craziest things you’ve done to meet or see your favorite band? I’ve got some stories.

In the summer of 2013 I did something I didn’t think I was capable of doing….running after One Direction’s tour bus!! Liam and Niall were the only two on the bus at the time, (my two favorite members), which was the main reason that I kept running down the streets of Atlanta.

In 2015, 5 Seconds of Summer were playing a show called ‘The New Broken Scene’. I called into the radio station over 1,000 times, which I know from my extremely long phone bill, for 2 months. Finally when I had 2 weeks left until the show, I drove 2 hours to get to a football game Adam Bomb was at to get tickets. Sadly, I missed him by 30 minutes. So the next week I drove another 2 hours the day before the concert and ended up getting the tickets. It is by far the craziest thing I’ve ever done for concert tickets.

Things That Happen While Fangirling:

  • You become someone you never knew existed inside of you.
  • You meet other fangirls and form a family!
  • You become very determined for all the wrong reasons.
  • You die a little inside if your favorite artist makes eye contact with you. Even if they didn’t, you’ll believe they did.
  • You lose even more sleep than you already did to begin with and your grades plummet.
  • Your parents get extremely annoyed with you asking for rides to places and money for concert tickets.
  • You risk getting arrested for stalking just to get a glimpse of them.
  • You waste all your money on gas/plane tickets to see them live.
  • You spend the day in rain, snow, sweltering heat, and freezing cold to get good spots at their concert. (Definitely worth it.)
