This year’s grammy nominations have me shook (and not in a good way.) I mean seriously, I cannot be the only one bothered by these nominations!?!
Before I go in, I want to first acknowledge the fact that Kendrick Lamar and Drake received the most nominations this year, with Lamar snagging 8 noms, and Drake snagging 7. Well deserved fellas.
With that being said, what is really going on? Ariana Grande\’s Sweetener was largely ignored. Lil Wayne finally dropped Tha Carter V just in time for the cut off, yet was ignored; meanwhile, Post Malone is dominating categories???? Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, and Jay-Z were reduced to small catergoies like Best Pop Vocal Album and Best R&B Album? Seriously?
This has led to a lot of people really questioning how much credibility the Grammy\’s still has…

The fact that Ariana had the BEST music videos this year and Taylor had THE album of the year and they both got snubbed like that. It’s tragic.

I just cannot get over the snubs this year, and I didn\’t even list them all! I guess this is what Jay Z basically told us about all along. The Grammy\’s and Billboard have got to get it together; we are still trying to root for ya\’ll.
