The Game of Thrones finale is this Sunday and there are mixed feelings about it. It is the first season to steer from the book and viewers can tell. Here are some of the best tweets praising and “blazing” the series finale:
The entire season could potentially be the bloopers version of season 8, but who’s to say? That death stare tells a lot though.
I can\’t believe HBO mistakenly aired season 8 bloopers first, I can\’t wait to see the real season 8.#GameofThrones pic.twitter.com/ouez3t02e1

One of the most heart breaking moments was the Brienne and Jaime scene. We’re still not over the betrayal, but did we expect anything else from the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros.

Although, some people are still seeing the positives. When a decade long series disappoints, we can always wipe our tears with top tier memes.
The only good thing to come out of season 8 are the memes #GameofThrones #GoTS8 pic.twitter.com/R3Q5fgs7ol

Sometimes writing is hard when you don’t have the original books to fall back on and the Game of Thrones aren’t exempt from that. We all “forget about the Iron Fleet” every now and then but the writers “forgot” to write a good season.

But no matter what the fans or writers say, we can always trust the cast to give us their honest opinions. And it looks like we aren’t the only ones who have some trouble with season 8.
