On Tuesday (May 21) night’s finale of The Voice, Halsey performed her new hit “Nightmare” for fans and viewers alike.
Flaunting a fiery-red hairdo, the singer dominated an apocalyptic, industrial-like stage complete with tubes and pipes hanging everywhere. In true Halsey-fashion, she entered the stage in a slow descent from the ceiling while singing the intro. Some of the imagery in her performance closely mirrored her video for the track, which was released May 17. At one point of the performance, her dancers (all women, of course) held up newspapers that read “IT’S OUR TURN!”
Halsey tweeted about the performance on Thursday (May 23), captioning the video with, “ayyy, girl squad on @NBCTheVoice”.
