Bella’s phone was hacked and her nudes were leaked. Whoopi decided to discuss this on The View earlier this week, and stated, “If you’re famous, I don’t care how old you are. You don’t take nude photos of yourself. You cannot be surprised if someone’s hacked you, especially if you have stuff on your phone.”

Bella decided to take to social media, Instagram specifically, to post a dramatic video of her crying and calling out Whoopi for her comments.
Bella said, “Blaming girls for taking the photo in the first place is sick and honestly disgusting.” She also went on to say that she had taken those pictures for someone she loves and misses very much, and it was a personal thing that was not meant to be public.
Apparently, Bella was supposed to go on the show this week, but said she would not be going after the comments that were made. The ladies of The View are entitled to their opinions just like everyone else is.

I understand that Bella wouldn’t want to go on the show after what was said, and she has the right to decline the invitation.
Bella likes to play the victim a lot of the time, and I think she needs to understand that being a celebrity (a public figure) is difficult. You have to have tough skin. Maybe Bella will think twice about taking sexually explicit pictures in the future to avoid this kind of backlash. Is anything really “private” anymore?
