On Sunday July 7th, the U.S Women’s Soccer team won their fourth world cup title. They defeated the Netherlands 2-0 earning the U.S their victory. It has been an exciting journey not only for the team, but the fans that support them. This year more than 14 million viewers tuned in to watch the game, making it the most-watched soccer event in the U.S. Furthermore, after their victory, tweets have risen about the woman’s team deserving equal pay like men. Personally, the woman’s team should get payed the same because they work just as hard and they have more world cup titles.

As we cheer on @USWNT, let’s not forget that they don’t have #equalpay. I’m proud to support them both on the field and off the field. #WorldCup https://t.co/h9z4Tv6zjP
