The Grammy award winning singer has just been announced People Magazine’s 2019 sexiest man alive.

John Legend’s new title was announced by 2017’s sexiest man alive Blake Shelton on a brand new episode of “The Voice” Tuesday night. John Legend is one of the coaches on NBC’s hit singing competition alongside Kelly Clarkson, Gwen Stefani, and Blake Shelton.

In a funny tweet, Legend commented on his new title as sexiest man alive by saying, “1995 John would be very perplexed to be following 2018 Idris Elba as Sexiest Man Alive. Hell 2019 john is about equally perplexed but thank you people magazine for finding me sexy. I’ll take it.”

John Legend is one of the youngest EGOT winners in history meaning he is the winner of an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony. There are only 14 people on the planet to uphold such a prestigious honor, and John Legend is one of them. Legend is also considered to be a part of one of Hollywood’s iconic power couples with his wife Chrissy Tiegen. Together the couple have 2 kids together.
