Hey, I’m Bert. I host this thing: The Bert Show. This is the first time I’ve hosted a radio show. I worked for morning shows in San Diego, Washington, D.C. and Dallas before Q100/Atlanta took a gamble on me and allowed me to assemble this show with no real hosting experience – and we’ve kept it together.
I’m also the proud father of two boys, Hayden and Hollis. They are loving, respectful children and make me laugh and smile every day.
Since I’m a workaholic by nature, I don’t have a lot of hobbies. But when I do have time, I love traveling. My favorite destinations are Europe, the Caribbean and South and Central America. I just love seeing new things. I also surf, play baseball and watch sports, especially soccer. I tried playing last season but three games in I tore my ACL and Meniscus. Soccer career over.
Here are a few more fun facts about me:
- I watch TV shows that are intended for people way younger than me.
- I don’t like people that don’t give me a hand gesture of gratitude when I let them merge in traffic.
- I worked at Taco Bell for 4 years.
